Sample Consultant Bios Norm Merwise Norm Merwise brings to The Schawbel Corporation a broad range of general management, marketing and sales experience. For more than forty years, Norm has achieved success in businesses that manufactured, marketed and distributed consumer package goods for domestic markets. He also led global sourcing efforts for new products and new business development. His industry experience includes consumer package goods, publishing and printing, and office products with industry leaders including: The Gillette Company; Western Publishing Company; Rand McNally and Company; and Scripto Tokai Corporation. Norm has interfaced extensively with overseas management while developing and presenting new business proposals including M&A opportunities and new product development plans. Norm has served on the Board of Directors for The Games Gang Marketing Company (marketers of the board game, Pictionary), has been a member of trade association boards including the School Home Office Products Association and Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association. He is a graduate of Brandeis University and has served as a board member of the Brandeis University Alumni Association. He has also lectured at the Claremont Graduate School’s Drucker School of Management.
Frank Rumpeltin Frank Rumpeltin brings extensive executive level experience to The Schawbel Corporation. Frank has more than thirty years of success in a variety of consumer manufacturing businesses from product management and division manager to president, CEO, Chairman and Board member. Frank has successfully managed a start-up, turnarounds, plant closures and consolidations. The breadth of his experience includes global brand management strategies, new product development, engineering and operations. Frank has had total profit and loss responsibility in organizations that range in size from $150 million to more than $400 million. His involvement in consumer manufacturing businesses includes companies such as G.D. Searle, Bausch & Lomb and Hasbro where he held world-wide responsibility for the Playskool Division. He has managed consumer brands including Playskool, Barney, and he successfully launched the Teletubbies brand in North America. His management oversight and leadership skills range from a start-up with few employees to global businesses with thousands of employees. Frank holds an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and an MBA from Rutgers University. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard University School of Public Health and he is on the Board of the Center for Children’s Health in Boston, MA.
